The much awaited and definitely late October newsletter has arrived. As the team grows it's exciting but also making it hard for me to keep up sometimes! I know this is a healthy problem because I see the growth in so many of your businesses and it makes me enthusiastic, proud and anticipating what the future holds for all of us!
 
Holiday Candle Season is about to head into full swing and by next month we should see great retail, many doing expos and shows and the great additions of many more to our team. I can't wait! Don't let the holidays pass you by and remember the more memorable and visible you are in your marketing efforts, the more you will see great results.
 
I am wishing for a wonderful Candle Season (and Holiday Season) for the entire Flames Team!
 
Just a couple of notes here:
 
First, I've evaluated the Top 20 Retailers and it's getting closer sometimes within cents and not dollars that determines who is recognized. Our team is putting up ever growing retail numbers and I really believe you should be recognized for your sales and work! You deserve a pat on the back and some recognition for all that you do! The Flames Team Rocks as my son always says!
 
The Top 20 Retailers will be changed starting next month to the Retail Top 10% - this will recognize more of you who have done some great sales and retail volume during each month. As the team grows, so will the Retail Top 10% but I think it's really important to recognize you for your efforts.
 
Second, we have brought back our Team Trainings in chat room format and they will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. At least through the new year in 2008 where we will be bringing on even more great training to build all aspects of your business - retailing, fundraising and recruiting/team building.
 
The Flames Team Diamonds and leaders are putting together some great informative chats on great subjects. Check the Yahoo Group for announcements. We are also looking at doing some team specific conference calls and other great training to help you build your business.
 
You all are an awesome team and I couldn't ask for a better bunch of business partners and friends! You are awesome and I'm looking forward to a great holiday season and beyond for all of us!

MID STATES CONFERENCE
 
    We had a great time at the Mid States Conference in Topeka, Kansas! We enjoyed being together and getting to know one another and I want to thank all of you for being there and making it special! And thanks to all for making Trevor's 7th Birthday memorable for him too, as his birthday was during the conference. Here are some pictures for those who missed it!
   
    It was a fun meeting of members of our team from several states: Blair Rendle of North Carolina, Sharlene Wade of Illinois, Cindy Hicks of Alabama, Sheila Barret of Nebraska and Dawn Mathisen from Florida.
 
    An enjoyable time was had by all although the time went by so fast but I think everyone benefited from being there!
